I'd appreciate that but I'm afraid Ms. Wynne would hit me with an environmental tax and a deposit fee. Then raise may hydro bill and make me feel guilty for using it.

Private sector can't possibly screw up Hydro One anymore than the government already has.
There is a recent precedent in Ontario.The Bruce nuclear facility has been run by a private company (quite successfully) for 15 years. The place was a notorious slush bucket before (I knew a couple of people who worked there back in the Ontario Hydro era) and it is a much tighter ship, these days. As long as they are appropriately restrained and regulated, private companies almost have to be more efficient that iron rice bowls like OPG.
