Our stimulus sounds huge, but it's less than 1/10th of what the US spent ($4 trillion and climbing so far), and ours went to people instead of corporations, so it actually helped a lot of those impacted, instead of just shareholders and the wealthy.

I was thinking of those when I saw the drive through food hampers in the States. People have money for gas, but not food??
