One day, all our video games are all going to consist of vegan characters who's most sense of virtual violence are pillow fights.
What's next, they'll go after Animal Crackers?
I swear PETA must be on a secret mission to get a Guinness World record for having the most people hate you worldwide. I'm sure up to 2 billion already.
And secondly... Super Mario 3 was released in 1988. Did those dumbshits just play it this week?
As noted in the report above, the suit in question has been around since Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES.... so talk about missing the ball on that one.
All they're doing is trying to cling onto anything that might be trendy and then finger wag at it so they get their name in the paper for another 15 mins of fame.
"Tanooki may be just a "suit" in Mario games, but by wearing the skin of an animal, Mario is sending the message that it's OK to wear fur," PETA says."
Oh, so it couldn't be made out of synthetic material?
It couldn't have been made out of some magical element where it just suddenly exists and no animal was harmed?
It couldn't be that the fur and tail were specifically mutated from his own genetic makeup and thus, his own fur???
Gotta love PETA.... pulling assumptions out of their arse & wasting everybody's time for 31 years and counting.
If they are concerned with the image of a character in a video game wearing animal skin can you imagine what they must think of the Flintstones?
Good Lord! Not only did Fred and others wear animal skins but they enslaved animals to act as household appliances! Shame on them! Better ban those reruns.
You get the damn thing from touching a leaf! What makes you think it doesnt mutate mario into a hybrid human/animal?
LOL!
Just when you think they can't get any crazier...
