Get a life PETA, it's a fly, not one of you cutsie poo pandas

Hey Peta-- Piss off!

Blue_Nose @ Thu Jun 18, 2009 8:03 am

I was sure this was going to be a link to an Onion article... PETA is quite obviously a parody of themselves.

It's natural selection. Soon PETA will be too scared of killing anything that they will starve to death.

I hope PETA members always refuse antibiotics on the grounds its killing innocent bacteria just looking to live their lives. Ditto for them washing. Must be ethical to the teeming lifeforms just wanting to peacefully coexist with us and live in our armpits.

Well I'm off to protest at my local farm over the enslavement and genocide of the resident carrots.

Carrots are people too.

If you've ever heard the sound of carrots screaming in agony as they're ripped out of the ground by their stalks...

They'd also need to have their immune system shut down.

I hope PETA members realize how many insects they kill every time they drive a car.
Oh yeah, they don't drive, they always walk... very carefully.

"...for you see, Reverend Maynard, tomorrow is harvest day and for them it is their holocaust."

I wonder if PETA realizes eventually just by them being alive they're causing the deaths of hundreds on insects a day, driving their cars, walking on the sidewalk. etc...

Maybe then they will finally turn into a suicide cult.

I'd like to send PETA a bottle of mosquitoes.........where would one send that to?

Blue_Nose @ Thu Jun 18, 2009 8:55 am

I wonder what the original reference to crying/screaming carrots was - my grandfather always joked about it years ago, and I actually wrote that before I saw Derby's post, but added the quote so it made more sense.... then there's the Tool song, and the Arrogant worms song, and probably more.

Maybe it's evolved from the mandrake myth, which kind of looks like a carrot? It can't be a coincidence that it's almost always carrots and not other vegetables.

xerxes @ Thu Jun 18, 2009 8:57 am

Well I quoted the Tool song, but I don't know about the other ones.

My daughter no longer drinks milk or eats cheese. PETA websites describe the inhumane treatment and suffering of dairy cattle. Said they farm tens of thousands of cows per farm.
I wanted to drag her ass over to a cousin's dairy farm so he could explain they won't give milk if they're stressed in the least. They're treated as well as her cat! And the existing networks of small dairy farms and marketing boards is why we pay $4 for milk...
