Same way Goldfish end up in Alberta. Aquariums. Then people 'set them free' when they get to big. Or eat all the other fish. 8O

I ask the same question of people who own pythons or tarantulas. Cats and dogs are fun, you can play with them, even train them a bit. They are affectionate.

Emperor scorpions . . .not so much.

Emperor Scorpions sting and bite because they love.

They must love everything, all the time then. And the little bastards pinch! No wonder people leave them out in the desert.

Growing up, my neighbour had a piranha in his fish tank.

Every couple days, he'd walk to a local storm pond and scoop up a bag full of minnows and drop them in his tank. The interesting thing was that the piranha refused to eat while anyone was in the room, but the second you left, CHOMP and one of more were gone (or bitten in half)!

Inside that hard violent shell of bitey, stingy death lies a gooey heart of love.
