Is he actually saying this?

Does Dion have nothing else?

ziggy @ Thu Sep 04, 2008 8:09 am

Harper wants to give Bush a third term?

This guy has lost it a long time ago,he's a bit late to try drag up that ploy.

All he has is tax the west, thats it.Hope his pensions all stop paying big dividends when the energy sector slows down if his carbon tax go's through.

I wonder how many of the oilsands projects are in his investment portfolio along with the majority of Canadians.

Pitting the east against the west is the biggest betrayal of Canadians I have ever seen. The libs tried it before and I guess it's all they know for election strategy.

same old same old tired liberal party needs some new blood.

He sure as hell did betray Canadians ... he has proven it by breaking his own rules and back paddling on issues like giving GM a bail out and saying is isn't pork barreling... well from people calling into the CBC this morning he might just get what he wants.. out of the job.. ;) he has proven he can't be trusted..

ziggy @ Thu Sep 04, 2008 8:27 am

Ya,people calling into CBC.

No bias there.

kenmore @ Thu Sep 04, 2008 8:30 am

you think everyone who call the cbc is liberal.. get a grip... there were tories who said they voted for him because he presented a new idea and liked the policy but now feel he is an autocrat... where do you get the idea people who call or are connected to the cbc are of left ideology.. man your something else ziggy...

"Stephen Harper wants to give George W. Bush a third term – in Ottawa,"

I would like to see George W. Bush have a third term, so what, it's not possible.

Move on Dion, get a job (just not as PM)

Actually it was ordinary everyday people who called to respond to the question.. are you ready for an election? the response was very negative with regard to harper breaking his own policy regarding fixed dates etc.. he was afraid of losing in the upcoming bi-elections.. there were a few ,,, maybe 3 who said they would vote for him again.. most would not... this might come back and bite the little autocrat right in the ass... I hope it does

Low blow attack ads? Wasn't it the Liberal party with those "Troops in our cities" ads they had in the last Prime Minster race? Please. Plus blaming the Conservatives for the food issues is like blaming the liberals for the water issues like Walkerton.

And just ordinary everyday people taking the time to answer the Toronto Sun Poll today.

Who do you plan to vote for in this fall's federal election?

Conservatives 67%
Liberals 16%
NDP 6%
Bloc Quebecois 1%
Green 7%
Other 4%

Dion is desperate and so are his flunkies.

If anyone happened to listen to "sounds like Canada" with Kevin Sylvester at 10:30 this morning, you would have heard from at least 8 people who all rattled off variations of the Liberal talking points. One right after the other, they all sounded like Liberal campaign volunteers fron Ontario.
I'm going to send in a letter to complain and I suggest you podcast that drivel and do the same. If you don't get a reply, do keep in mind that the CBC isn't paticularly open to criticism.

$1:
OTTAWA - A Canadian radio and TV watchdog is accusing the taxpayer-funded CBC of blockinge-mailcomplaints sent by listeners to the broadcaster's president and chairman.

Oh, does anybody know how to get in touch with the CPC campaign for volunteering? I'd love to take an active part in my first ever Federal election! I'm soo excited!
