OMFG, are you kidding me? He's not really been in a nursing home or ready to go there, so in this case, age doesn't really matter.

If you think about it, Celebrity gives you pretty much free reign to do as you please. You've got Micheal Jackson, Woody Allan and Roman Polanski, all accused of molesting children with no real consequences.
Screw him, he should be brought back to face the music age not withstanding. You can bet your sorry ass that if it was some pedophile priest who they were hunting he'd have been incarcerated years ago, but because Polanski is an acclaimed film director he gets a pass, especially from all his hollywood cronies.
It's time to stop molly coddling celebrities and start treating them like the rest of us.

There has never been any hard evidence proving Michael Jackson molested anyone, Woody is a fucking creeper but never was never found he molested a minor, he at least eventually married Soon-Yi. Polanski has been found guilty and should be dragged by his ankles back to the states and dropped into prison.

True enough, but just because you weren't charged or convicted doesn't mean your not guilty, look at OJ Simpson.
I wonder if the difference between Polanski and the other two can be attibuted to the fact that Polanski was an immigrant Jew and not an American citizen, since the bias against both in the late sixties and early seventies was still quite prevelant.

I think the reason why Woody and Michael were not convicted was due to hearsay evidence. OJ's case was plagued with problems, but he eventually he made it to jail and didnt pass Go.

This is not an example of celebrity coddling. Your everyday, run-of-the-mill people guilty of the so-called 'statutory' rape don't have international arrest warrants issued for them, nor do they have elaborately set-up schemes to catch them. This is a high profile case of someone eluding Uncle Sam, and if anything, Polanski's celebrity harms him. If he weren't famous, the US would have forgotten about him long ago.

He pleaded guilty. That's not like he was saying he didn't do it and then found guilty.
