You're absolutely right, speaking the language sure makes everything a LOT easier. And then it still is not easy, especially not in these economic times...

Whoa! Kind of makes you wonder who slipped in under the radar before the test was changed.
I see nothing wrong at all about testing new citizens and were I to move to another country I would expect to be tested too. With citizenship comes responsibility and if people aren't willing to undergo testing and actually learn something about our country then they deserve to fail and be sent home.

   

For you it would be 3 barks and a nut lick !

   

They probably failed the oral part. We need to see their lips to make sure they are pronouncing everything correctly. And not just saying trick or treat!

25 out of 25 on the first test - I should feel great but I thought it was incredibly easy. Now I know what my friend meant when she said it was too easy when she took it last year.

   

I got 21 out of 25 on Part 1. Most of it seemed to be common sense, I had to guess on a few but I took it cold without any preparation at all.
