well I don't know many countries that stop people from leaving and correct me if I am wrong, but in order to get into the US you have to go threw US customs, not Canadian customs. So really the break down IF any is on the US side. It is just as easy to sneak into Canada from the US, just no one wants to!

The Mexicans are coming...........................................................
I like how the representatives took statements from CSIS out of context, conveniently leaving out, '...except for the United States.'
Unless both countries decide to build a wall at least 50 feet high and 100 feet deep, and have sentries every few hundred feet, this is going to happen. I don't want such a wall to happen, so I accept that there are certain risks to having such a border. The world can't be completely sanitized.

Land mines on the north and fill the Rio Grande with alligators to the south, problems solved

I didn't realize the Rio Grande was on the Canadian border. Silly me and my lack of geographical knowledge. I think Canada is a signatory to the anti-landmine treaty as well.

I'll take mexicans any day over muslims.
They are much closer to the culture in Canada.

Can't say as I know much about Mexican culture. All I've ever heard about it was from Americans and NONE of it was good

By "both countries" I referred to the United States and Canada. Yes, it does "take care" of both countries, indeed.

Yup, but you just know that some braindead Senator or other US Politician is going to have all kinds of people convinced it's a Canadian issue.
