We should start a counter like they have in workplaces for accident free days.

1 consecutive day without any new Rob Ford scandals

Just find the days the Toronto Star is publishing its paper and post those. Same thing.

I'm expecting a headline from the Star any day now "OJ Identifies the Real Killer". Then there will be a picture of a maniacally grinning Ford slipping on the glove that fits.

I think this whole fiasco is more a testament to the degrading state of journalism more than anything else. The Star, and now the Globe and Mail, have sunk to new lows. Once upon a time real journalists used sources to uncover the truth by digging deeper into a story to uncover the facts. Now rag newspapers like the Star use whatever sources say as the truth and don't even bother checking to find the evidence to support what their sources are saying. As long as what the source states conforms to the political ideology of that particular media outlet's political leanings then the story is either reported as fact or the mere rumor is reported. Looks like print media is slitting their own wrists.

Rob Ford video scandal: Mayor Ford said he knew where video was, sources say

$1:
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford told senior aides not to worry about a video appearing to show him smoking crack cocaine because he knew where it was, sources told the Star.
Ford then blurted out the address of two 17th-floor units — 1701 and 1703 — at a Dixon Rd. apartment complex, to the shock of staffers at a city hall meeting almost two weeks ago, the sources said.
The mayor cited “our contacts” as the source of his information, according to insiders familiar with the unusual May 17 session in his office.
Staffers were alarmed by the implication of hearing so precise a location, sources said.

If he losing his job as mayor... my guess is that he won't be going back to football.

Sources have said you've been part of Ford's inner circle and that you both have a thing for the family dog and peanut butter.

$1:
Toronto police have charged a second man with first-degree murder in connection with the killing of 21-year-old Anthony Smith, who appears in a photo beside Rob Ford that is at the centre of a controversy involving the city's mayor.
Ford dodges drug questions.
Rob Ford's office reportedly tipped to location of video.
Gawker editor debates publishing Rob Ford crack allegations.
Hanad Mohamed, 23, of Toronto was arrested in Fort McMurray, Alta., police said Thursday.
Mohamed is charged with first-degree murder. He will appear in a Toronto court on Friday.
Nisar Hashimi, 23, was also charged with first-degree murder in the Smith shooting after turning himself in to police in April.
Smith was killed outside a King Street nightclub in Toronto on March 28. It appears Smith has his arm around Ford in a widely circulated photo provided to the U.S. website Gawker and the Toronto Star by the same people who showed them the alleged video of Ford appearing to smoke crack cocaine.
On Thursday, Ford will likely face questions at City Hall about a report in the Star alleging the mayor told staffers the location of the video, right down to the addresses and unit numbers in a Dixon Road apartment complex in Toronto.
The Star is citing sources who claim to be privy to a meeting in Ford's office on May 17, where mayor allegedly passed on the information.
Publicly, Ford has said the video doesn't exist and has said he doesn't smoke crack cocaine, nor is he an addict of crack cocaine.
