Damn rights, this should be the end result everytime these pirates are spotted.

"A third 'mothership' was also discovered and had more than 10 tonnes of fuel destroyed using sugar poured into the barrels."

Now this where you can see the Royal Navy is having too much fun

Bah. I thought the pirates were in the boat when they shot it up. Big deal :|
Headline should have read, "RN gunners take target practice"

The pirates probably already had a new boat and were out hunting by the time the RN had towed their old one out to sea.

Yes Nug. Good point.

What of these "Sea Terrorists"? (not Pirates) Are they imprisoned or just put out on the closest shore? These are truly International Terrorists not just teens out for a joy ride. You don't just take away their license and ride.

And they're terrorists and not pirates why? Who said they were teens out for a joy ride? This came about as Somalis wanted to protect their coast from foreign fishing fleets taking all their fish. Perfectly understandable if they'd left it at that. But, of course they figured out they could make a lot more money from this than from fishing. Part of the solution should be the foreign navies turning away non-Somali fishing boats.

Well done Royal Navy, the only downside was that the pirates weren't on board at the time as (previously commented) they are probably in another
another boat doing the same thing. If they were put in small boat 300 miles off the coat like the Russians did that would be just as good.

The term Pirates gives too much of a chuckle in a yo ho ho Johnny Depp kinda way. These guys need to be taken more seriously. Call'em like they are, a serious terrorist threat. Blow'em out of the water and shut'em down for good. Do that a few times and it will send a message.
