Putin's not crazy enough to do anything especially since China's moving Military asstes into the region to also support Assad. http://warmonitor.net/news/2015/10/10/chinese-warships-en-route-to-syria/

Wow huge story if true. I'll wait for confirmation though.

If something like this were true, it engages Canada automatically via NATO.

What sucks is, yesterday Turkey had 2 of it's biggest news stories occur in years and no information can get out because Erdogan has muzzled the media there, especially with the upcoming election. Anyway, the Syrian crisis has escalation written all over it. Scary times.

Not if Mulcair becomes PM.

This story is fake. No one is touching it except for the tabloids. Fiddledog is a known purveyor of grade-A horse shit. Should've known better.

Mail online uses random twitter posts as a source. In other news,

$1:
Tanya from New Jersey just broke a heal on her $300 pumps running for the bus. #brokendreams #tardytanya

Random Twitter sources have turned out to be more reliable than the lame stream media.

Mail online is of course the daughter organization of the British newspaper Daily Mail, and has the world's largest viewership of news online.

The Story was covered by other Media. For example The Nation had it. The Nation is "is the oldest continuously published weekly magazine in the United States."

http://nation.com.pk/international/11-O ... ussian-jet

However, admittedly this Particular story is headlined in a questionable manner.

$1:
Russian jet 'shot down by Turkish forces after planes violated country's airspace on Syrian bombing run'

Unconfirmed reports claim a Russian jet was shot down by Turkish forces
Eyewitnesses on social media said they saw an explosion in northern Syria

So they grab your attention with a questionable claim, then they give you the specifics that it's based on unconfirmed reports from social media.

Have Prog bibles such as CBC, or New York Times ever done similar? Hell yeah, they have.

Get off your high horse Del. You don't belong there.

I must have really hurt your feelings if you had to run to that old phony headlines gizmo.

I should be sorry I guess, however:
