Apparently, they give out degrees on the back of matches in Russia too. That can only explain the moronic thesis put out by this guy.
Wow I think your the only person on here that can type 100+ words and not make a point.
actually I have to disagree with you here Eisensapper. Those with the typewriter award manage to often do that.
I stand corrected Shep

How moronic his thesis is depends on a number of things that we don't know at the moment. Apparently the market meltdown will be far worse in the U.S. than in Canada, but the question is how much worse. Obama could greatly improve things, make them worse, or be faced with external problems for which he has no control. We really don't know at the moment. Cyberwar has become as dangerous as terrorism and a major incident in either area at this bad time could be the last straw for the destruction of the US economy. The danger of a nuke use in India, Pakistan, the Middle East or elsewhere is getting greater too.
So, if everything stays calm and cool, and Obama makes great improvements in the US and the world and the markets gradually improve accordingly and deficits get gradually wiped out, then it is a moronic thesis.
However, if the market keeps going off a cliff, Obama makes things worse with protectionist policies for example, more companies and major parts of the economy go bankrupt. Social unrest, rioting etc. develops. There is a badly timed act of major terrorism particularly in the cyber area. This would create a scenario in which his moronic thesis becomes far less moronic.
Which type of "cyber terrorism" do you have in mind?

No. It's still moronic.

I claim Oahu North Shore as mine!!!!

You and I can settle any ownership disputes by arm wrestling

By arm I hope you meant jello...

Well I was thinking more of a surf off at North Shore, but I guess jello arm wrestling while on surf boards will suffice...make it lime

Mafia boy in Montreal, shut down Yahoo and EBay through a denial of service overload that he designed. Now picture on a larger scale, the banks computers become shut down for a month. No access to money. The transportation system computers, traffic lights, hydro, water etc. shut down. Apparently according to a CBC investigative report on Cyberwar, viruses can also be produced to totally destroy large networks and hackers are being employed by "interested parties" as in countries and organizations who would profit from such chaos. The experts on the show said it is just a matter of when.
See, now that was funny.
Banks are on a separate system, disconnected from the Internet. I take my money, fold it and put it in my wallet to prevent cyber-attacks.
