Ahh...I liked that guy.
This was my fave...
Always used to hear him at a coffee shop I would frequent to study years ago. Never knew who it was until years later, such a distinctive voice.
His version of Hallelujah might be my favourite.
RIP

RIP to an iconic genius. 2016's awful toll continues without relent.

Thought he was the one who wrote it?
Very sad news. Of all the artists who have passed this year, this one bothers me the most.

I don't know if he wrote it or not, I've heard so many versions of it and I'm not too informed about his music by name, though I would recognise the songs if I heard them.

A national treasure lost. Maybe the most important poet in our nation's history.
I don't want to pick a favourite. Lightfoot is pretty damn good too.

This is topical:
^^ I was going to post that on Friday, but forgot.
I'm not crazy about Cohen's singing voice, but loved the lyrics of his songs and his poetry. And I did like his speaking voice.
He will be missed!
