I honestly don't see why Americans would be against the 'Union'. Based on their economy, military, population and currency, they would dominate any superstate anyways. Odds are we'd wind up with some US-like flag as well. And this superstate would be able to continue its global domination for a long time. Imgaine Canada and Mexico's natural resources totally tied into the US economic and military engine. China would have little chance of being #1.
It's Canadians who should be worried about this BS. We're the ones who would surrender our sovereignty, culture, language (QC and NB anyways), our beautiful flag, etc.
