Harper doesn't go by polls as he's ready to put his Government on the line for the Mission in Afghanistan because he believes in what Canada is doing while the same can't be said about Dion and the Liberals because they govern by polls..

Dion and the Liberals would support the Mission in Afghanistan is the polls showed more support, since they don't their against the Mission which they started in the first place, they are the ultimate panders..

The Liberals and NDP ignored the Manley report regarding the Media's coverage because the bias coverage and polls plays into their hands politically..

The Liberals bitch Harper started the Combat Mission, well what did they expect would happen in Afghanistan? They would rather have Canadian Soldiers carry a Hammer, they are so naive like the NDP they believe if Canada was in a non Combat Role they wouldn't be attacked while the reality is any sign of progress in Afghanistan is a target..

Afghanistan has been involved in war and occupation by various countries since 1757.. the Brits abandonded it after WW11 and the russians..so why is everybody gunho in Canada to spend our fucking tax dollars on a lost cause.. its not that our troups dont make a difference... its that the difference isnt going to make it... sorry my opinion isnt the same as your Johnny Utah.. actually according to todays paper he and M.Dion have come to an agreement on the Afghan issue... the next item on the bring em down agenda is the budget... harper isnt putting anything on the line.. he has to make the move...he cant continue to govern with the threat of one party or the other bringing him down.. he is doing what is called political maneuvering..
