I don't. The behaviour of the national sports media would be disgusting. The CBC, Sportsnet, and Toronto Sports Network would be in a never-ending cycle of "WOW, this is the greatest Stanley Cup win in the history of forever!".
They're already doing that. After last nights win you'd think they'd just won game seven of the cup.
The announcers were doing the whole, team pulled together, goalie played great, Kessel was fantastic, big line finally performed like they were capable of shtick.
How quickly they forgot the two other anemic losses and the lack of production by those same Leaf hero's. I hope to God they never win anything again because, like you say, the braying of the media asses would drown out every other sound in Canada.
