I'll ad one more case of true Genocide. Well it covers many different Governments but in the same area. Native Americans sense the "discovery" of the America's the systematic killing off of the natives lasted well into the 1800's. This includes the Spanish, British, American Governments along with many central and S. American Governments.

It’s true, many of them died of disease while we were massacring, enslaving, and forcibly relocating them
And since we stopped abducting their children by force for systematic physical abuse and sexual molestation in the 1990s we have nothing to feel bad about. Right?

To be clear: NOWHERE IN THE DATA does it say SAME RACE. It only says “known to victim” but they don’t define what that means... RCMP admitted it could mean anything, such as a casual acquaintance, a regular customer in the truck stop where the girl works, or a John if the woman works in the sex trade, or a friend of a friend of a friend that only briefly met the victim, once etc.
Again it comes down to cops doing shitty half ass work and everyone else desperate to make excuses and leap to absurd conclusions that FN people must only be known to other FN people.

Yes, till you find out that the US Gov. and Army purposely gave some tribes blankets infected with small pox. Out of all the Genocides conducted and attempted it seems to me the USA has gotten away with it with far less condemnation then what any other Gov. has in the last 200-300 years.
