They should have gave him something. Like free Burgers for a year.

   

I think they want to keep customers not kill them off.

   

   

Free foods equals no profits. Also McDonalds has millions or billions of customers. They are not going to care if they lose one customer.

   

You deserve a break today, at McDonald's...

WHen they had the smile is free campaign going my kid used to go into McD's and ask for just a smile, he usually got one, and smart little bugger would always ask the best looking teen girl behind the counter.

   

His father trained him right.

   

Since he said "no thanks" to them when they asked if they could do anything he threw out his chances of being able to sue

   

now what if he had already pissed on his bosses desk? I think McDonalds should pay him something.

   

McDonalds could have thrown him a million dollars and had that money made back in less time than it would take to print the check. That being said, anyone who actually eats at McDonalds should qualify for a free brain transplant because the one they have doesn't work.

   

If this had been some celebraty or well know person, they would have been $1million richer or yet, millions of $$$ richer after sueing McDonalds for their mistake! Once again the big companies win.

   

Good way of looking at it. McDonalds shouldn't have to pay anything to the poor sap. Even he knew that both Boardwalk and Park Place were needed, so there's really no easy payout for him. It's really not worth the time. He probably just wanted his 10 seconds of fame for a typo.

Bah, everyone wants a free ride. Reminds me of a friend of mine who would get a speeding ticket and then scour the ticket top to bottom. He though if he found even the slightest mistake he would get away without paying it. Not gonna happen dummy.
