Canadian
By 2010 Canada will be a colony of the United States.

By 2010, I will be on America's "No fly list".
This is pissing my off, because when the stories and news articles about the NAU first started coming out, I just wished it wasn't true and felt sick by reading it.
Now it makes me angry when I read this...

Well in today's world with all the terrorism, having a unified border and harmonized immigration policy might not be all that bad??

What, we take only Mexicans?
Don't worry Mr. C, Canada will always be a sovereign nation.

Dude, You are talking to the guy who treats Canada like a religion.
This doesn't mean anything, but personally, I would take Terrorists over Canada losing Sovereignty ANYDAY.
Sorry.
But I would never, EVER for ANY REASON, even if my life was on the line, would want Canada to erase the border from the Map of North America.
And no,t his really has nothign to do with me disliking the US. Americnas don't want this thing either, since they also lose their sovereignty, but not as badly as the Canadians....
Canada would become history if the NAU happened.
I say no.

This is NADA, North American Dictatorship Agreement, and you guys are going all in. It really pisses me off that you don't seem to have any say in this. Everything behind closed doors. There should be a public outcry! Isn't there?
You guys are really taking the article out of context. It looks like they want to just fix some of the issues with trade and security. For instance, the whole passport thing. I think many people would agree that it would be great to go across the border for shopping then come back without the hassle of the passport.
Heck, I think having a common security border might save money. (Note not national border!)
Again, when they try to pass a constitution under our noses, (ahem EU), then I would be worried. Or making laws for each country without approval of the nations' legislatures (ahem EU).
Though I am not gonna lie, I do support the idea of any people wanting to join the US should join.

The constitution was voted down!
I am not a fan of the EU and would like to see Sweden leaving the Union as soon as possible. It ensures that power is centralized and diverted into the hands of a few. It is a Union for and of the large banks and it's policies are infavour of corporations to the disadvantage of Worker Unions.
We, however, were given the opportunity to vote on our membership and we were given the opportunity to vote on the EMU, and voted NO.
