50 million as a paycheck? Hot damn. Overpayed much?

Actually he got 84.5 million. The 50.5 million was a raise. What's the matter, you jealous or something?

He must have deserved it, look at what he's accomplished over the years;

$1:
For years, the Motion Picture Association of America has been pushing legislation to ratchet up copyright enforcement. In 2008, the association helped push through the PRO-IP Act, which allowed the federal government to seize domain names used for copyright infringement and created a new federal copyright czar. This year, the MPAA is a leading force in the campaign for "rogue sites" legislation, which would give the federal government broad powers to target sites with minimal judicial oversight.

I'm sure the $85 million he gets will be a drop in the bucket compared to what his company will earn now that all those filthy pirates are going to get crushed by the US government! :lol:

Fuck the MPAA. That's all I have to say.

If he's earning it, more power to him. If he's not earning it, I'm sure Viacom will get bailed out after he drives it into bankruptcy.

As the article says, it's a public company so if he's earning it, that for the stockholders to decide.

But I don't think Hollywood has any right crying about lost earnings due to piracy, with salaries like this - and infamous 'Hollywood accounting' practices.

How else is he going to afford hookers and blow?

Same way I do. Cheap hookers and generic brand whisky.

True enough, the old scare tactic isnt going to wash. However at the end of the day its still their I.P. to do with and protect as they see fit.
