Man they really are getting hit. And a third nuclear plant is having problems with its cooling system.
Earthquakes, tsunamis, meltdowns, and now volcano.

$1:
Japanese spend 3rd day without water, electricity; quake-tsunami death toll likely over 10,000
Japan's prime minister called the crisis the most severe challenge the nation has faced since World War II, as the grim situation worsened. Friday's disasters damaged a series of nuclear reactors, potentially sending one through a partial meltdown and adding radiation contamination to the fears of an unsettled public.

Initial reports made it sound like they got out relatively unscathed, but it just keeps getting worse. At least they have a well organized, caring society. I'm sure the Japanese will pull together and dealt with the situation as best they can. And I hope her Western allies will offer all the help they need to do so. Where is Canada on this? I have no problem sending Canadian aid to people who are going to appreciate and remember it, as opposed to say Pakistan where they just spit on us anyway.

Couldn't have said it any better. Lets stop trying to evacuate "Canadians" out of Libya and get those C-17's and DART out to Japan as soon as possible.
