Both Voyager 1 and 2 were not where they were supposed to be from our predicted measurements. We didn't know why that was. Now, we do.

To grasp where these are in the universe, the Moon is about 1.4 light-seconds from Earth; the Sun is about 8.5 light-minutes away; Pluto is about 5.5 light-hours away.

It takes light over 14 hours to reach the Earth from Voyager 1. So any communication with Voyager 1 is preceded by 28 hours of silence.

They were launched in 1972 (Voyager 2 16 months after). At the speed they are going, Voyager 1 will pass within 1.2 light years from a nearby star in 40,000 years.

Amazing to read an article where our all-knowing scientific community has to cop to not knowing something.

That is what science is, learning about things we don't know about. If you don't understand that you know nothing about science.

Oh, I see your sarcasm detector is not working today. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies.
