To be honest, it always surprised me that they had so much trouble filling an arena there. I would've thought all the snowbirds would be happy to see NHL hockey...

I guess most of the snowbirds are still loyal to the home teams. Sure, you might see a game with them here or there, but it's much cheaper just getting the NHL package on cable or satellite and watch the coverage of the Habs/Leafs/Wings/etc from home.
