I think he's trying to say that why is it that only white people get researched for regarding racism, it would make it more legit if one was done for black people, brown people, yellow people, etc. Atleast that is what I think hes saying, could be wrong.

There are bars here that whites and non Chinese don't frequent because they are made unwelcome. A Taiwanese friend said that some of the locals feel that the whites get loaded and loud(not that they don't) and hit on the women. There are also local pubs, that are more akin to private clubs. While there are no signs saying stay out, the message is pretty clear that gwai los aren't welcome.
Korea seens to be the worst place from all of the people I've talked to. The Chinese tend to be the most welcoming and open of east asian peoples, while the Japanese are usually cooler and more polite to the gaijin.

Probally because the Chinese has the most contact with the west, and has the most English Speaking population. Hell I think they even have the most English Speaking population in the world suprisingly lol.

Wow, a study involving a very limited amount to test subjects (120), all from the same area, all of the same race and they are able to make a broad sweeping conclusion such as "Whites are more racist than they think". Is this really passes off as "research" these days?

I think everyone needs to be honest with themselves and admit they are racist. Everyone's racist for Pete'e sake; be they Asian, Black, Hispanic, Indian, White, Middle-Eastern, etc.

If you were brought up in an all white society with no exposure to other races and your parents had a similar background with no racial attitudes, how likely would you be to develop racist attitudes and biases, later in life as you became exposed to other races?
A rather loaded question, but it would be interesting to hear some answers.
