Warnings are given and only useful BEFORE something happens. Everything mentoined here says even MI-5 did not know until after. So we should have been warned about something that has already happened¨(question mark!) (French keyboard, canèt find the quesiotn marks lol)
Yes its nice to know what might have happened but how would this have changed anything
Plus just because the plan was destined for TO does not mean TO was a target. Maybe they were going ot re-route to New York, maybe blow it up over the ocean. Story is making a mountain out of a mole hill!
