Canadian
The wall is to keep the Americans out, right?
Add this Scott Walker to the list of politicians that are out of touch with reality.
-J.
Walker wants to build a wall between them and their closest ally and trading partner?
Keep the savages out. Build a new Hadrian's Wall or Offa's Dyke.
WTF is it with Governors of Midwestern States and reality. Jesse Ventura and now Scott Walker.
Maybe, someone should point out that building walls didn't work for numerous Chinese Dynasties and is unlikely to work for this current Dynasty either. If we forest, step and mountain dwelling, igloo building, poutine eating, hockey loving barbarians want in, we'll get in because no wall is gonna stop the relentless push of Canadians seeking to conquer our southern neighbours one green card at a time.
Although, all I can say is, go for it. Building a wall 8,895.25 Kilometers is gonna be a tad bit expensive but I'm sure the American voting public won't have a problem using their tax dollars to protect themselves from the hordes at their gate.
If the morons want to bankrupt themselves even more than they did with the war in Iraq by building walls everywhere then let them. All it will do is hasten their upcoming collapse that much quicker. Maybe after the dust has settled and they've learned a harsh lesson they won't be so overwhelmingly stupid anymore.
Land of the free, home of the brave? No, I don't think so anymore. Not with the childish and hysterical way they're behaving all the time now.
Republican infrastructure program. Build a wall and gladly add to the debt. Good thinking.
And gladly let the other infrastructure rot and deteriorate until it collapses because maintaining it properly would be, like, communism or something.
I think people should watch the interview before getting too excited about this.
When you hear it in context it's not this "Walker wants to build a northern wall thing" the media has jumped on and tried to sell.
It's a planted issue from Chuck Todd that he hammered through and made a point for until Walker had to address it.
Walker didn't see the trick and wasn't quick enough to forcefully reject the fabricated issue. He tried to be diplomatic. Bad mistake with NBC. They'll make sure the edited sound bites say what they want them to say.

NBC is pretty sure you won't bother. Prove them wrong.
Start at about the 9 minute mark
I'll be the First one to take out the Wall with Canada. It's the dumbest idea ever conceived and the WI Gov. Probably got it from the East Coast Loons.
With "east coast loons" meaning Donald Trump and the rest of the hyper-terrified nativists that have been behaving like kooks since long before 9/11. Canadians will have to get used to this in that too many Americans are going to be blaming us for terrorist attacks in the US even though none of those plots came from Canada.
Brought to you by,The How to manual for a Handmaid'd tale
Walker is really just proposing to build a wall between the US and Quebeck. Not like you folks haven't thought of it yourselves.
Reminds me of the Montantana militia that guards the border with Canada. Not sure if they are stiull there, but I saw a story on them years ago. They seemed to be under the impression that the Canadian border was similar to Mexico's, full of desperate Canadians trying to get to the US.
"So, how many Canadians have you spotted running the border?" the reporter asked. Silence, then "Ummm, none...so far."
