In EVERY country, (caught) illegal aliens are sent to a jail-like situation. Tent-camps on a site they can't get off, "homes" they can't get out of.

Most of the people on this boat were men. The refugee demographic of women and children isn't properly represented here to be labeled as refugees.

Anybody else watch the John Baird news conference this morning about aid to Pakistan?

When it came to question time one of the reporters, instead of asking about Pakistan asked him if the Government knew that some of the Tamil Refugees from previous flotilla's had been seen taking trips and holidays back to Sri Lanka.

Of course he new nothing about it and started all the politician double talk bullshit about how there were a few bad apples and how it takes awhile for the government reforms to come into effect, etc etc etc.

But the point is, other that the mentally handicapped and delusional Zombies, is there anyone left in Canada other than our idiot Government who believes these people are legitimate refugees?

   

I saw a little of it this morning. This is a slam dunk for the Tories most Canadians don't like immigrant que-jumpers under the guise of refugees when it's clearly not the case.

I read in the news today 70% of these refugees travel back to Sri-Lanka for vacations to see relatives. Grounds for immediate deportation back imo.

Its the immigration judges that need to enforce our laws that they seem to scared to enforce.

   

Now maybe the laws will get changed which will just make it harder for legal immigrants to come

Maybe I should start looking into making bookings for the next boat leaving from Colombo

   

Read the news. There is a giant difference between legal immigrants and cue jumping refugee claimants who conduct business and holiday in the country that's supposedly persecuting them.

Despite your concerns to the contrary, Canada has always been considered a just and fair country that upholds it's obligations in the international community.

But, when those obligations become burdens and are abused by a minority of people, Candians can and do become more than a little incensed and you're just starting to see the tip of the iceberg.

   

It's assholes trying to confuse media and police by using some other group's zombie walk as cover. The same thing happened with a zombie walk in October 2009 in Victoria. The media was confused and so were some of the police. And part of the blame for one group was passed on to another.

   

These folks went to the WRONG country.
Heck, if they had come here to the states we would give them welfare, homes and jobs. And, throw in social security (they will never pay into)for a bonus.
Ask our Illegals from the south. Ain't the USA great.
