I think that statement is too general. We should be standing against any foreign ownership of Canadian resources. I am particularly irritated with the sale of Hudson's Bay! It isn't a natural resource, but it is of great historical significance. <img align=absmiddle src='images/smilies/frown.gif' alt='Frown'>

   

Wasn’t the HBC based across the pond in London for most of its existence, well into the 20th century?
