Canada’S C-51 Law May Outlaw 60% Of Natural Health Products

… On April 8, 2008, the Minister of Health in Canada introduced Bill C-51 into the House of Commons. This Bill proposes significant changes to the current Food and Drugs Act that would allow our government to bypass parliamentary and senate approvals on new laws introduced in Canada. It also authorizes the enforcement without judicial review.
<p>If we allow the sidestepping of elected officials, we are allowing our government to subject us to laws that are not the will of the people in Canada. The judicial system was built into our government to prevent abuse and protect us from individuals who may have an ulterior motive to enforcing actions against us.</p>
<p>Aside from the items above, this law is so broad as to <strong>warrant enforcement on the average person who grows a herb garden and shares it with his / her neighbors</strong>.</p>
<p>Another concern is enforcement of the new law. Put this enabling bill together with the SPP/NACC lovefest and what we have here in Canada is galloping, continental fascism.

This racket already going on in the EU. I wonder if the cops will raid us for having about 2 million dandelions in our meadows and if my wife makes some of her herb teas and dandelion wine ?
My gawd, how can we sell our calves with their meat infected by dandelions and mint and such other criminal vegetation.
Of course, they've tried to do this 25, or so, years ago, but were shot down by the large number of wealthy Chinese population in BC.
We'll have to alert our Chinese friends.
