He feared it would be used to monitor employee performance. The full article: London Free Press: Business Section - Video of workers ruled OK, explains that in actuallity the system will not be used other than to provide security to the workshops and other areas of the train yard and that the footage is only intended to be accessed in the event of a security breach.

The courts ruled that the access to the footage would be controlled and only used for it's intended purpose. But how true will that be?

Wouldn't it be funny if those cameras were set up incorrectly and the whole world could watch over the internet .... well here's an electronics manufacturing firm who has done just that very thing, located somewhere along the west coast, most likely in USA. Whether on purpose or not, I wonder if those people have a data protection issue with this live web cam, I sure would.

I understand that many companies are using cameras right in the computer or office to watch employees, it must be very difficult to work with big brother watching all the time. Even if you aren't doing anything wrong, the stress would drive you crazy.

Its time all Canadians stand up and do not take it anymore.
Its Corporate control supported by devious Government who are not listening. We need to overhaul the system and make Politicians tow the line or out they go.
