The Aboriginal Truth and Reconciliation Commission recently presented its findings about the ghoulish legacy of the residential school system. Some people have reacted to the Commission’s findings by wondering why nothing seems to change. Why should they be made to feel guilty for something that they were not involved in? Why are the programs and the money currently allocated to support Aboriginals not enough? Why don’t Aboriginal people just “get over it”?

Even when I don't fully agree with what you're saying, I can always appreciate the thoughtfulness, reason and intelligence that you bring to your articles. I appreciate your pieces not only on their own merit, but also for how they help dilute the stench that emanates from the other major "contributor" on this site. It's probably not that flattering to be likened to Febreze or Nilodor, but it's a valuable service nonetheless. Thank you.

Trust me, your positive feedback means a lot to me, and just as you appreciate my being able to dilute Robin Mathews, I am also proud and happy to be able to do it.

Now I just need to see if I can bug Ron Dart into posting again, or maybe finding some other contributors...
