Judge Bennett reserved judgment until March 28, at which time she will decide if the details of the police case can come out, or if they should remain sealed until presented in the course of the trial which starts June 5.

The case has aroused keen public interest because of the possible political connections to the world of crime. Police have said the case initially began as a drug and money-laundering investigation before evidence pointed toward the legislative buildings.

As is pointed out by “Roger McConchie, The Globe's lawyer in the case, urged the court to unseal three search warrants that outline the core of the case, arguing that because the defendants have chosen trial by judge alone, there is no risk of a jury being prejudiced by media publicity.”
One must ask them-self
What are the Courts, via the prosecution, playing at?
I my experience with the courts of BC and the information I have collected from rebel lawyers who no longer practice law due the corruption of the courts I now know and believe what others will not!
The courts are dirty!
So dirty that the accusers live in fear of speaking out, with the exception of Karl-Heintz Eisbrenner a man who speaks out on a regular basis.

the BC legislature raid in all likelihood hides corruption connected to Usal Dosanj (sic)
One of the defendants was an organizer for the Martin machine.
Who or these people given governmental posts?
What are there ties to the Sikh Mafia?

Those who play the anti-racist card , do they speak out on ethnic organized crime in Canada?

Have we become so “polite” in our ‘Canadianess’ that ethnic crime(s)
Is it a taboo to speak about these issues?

It's going to be interesting Mary. Given that they keep delaying the start of the trial, can only wonder if they keep delaying the Madame Justice's ruling on the request by the Globe as well?...............( I have a bit of a running commentary on this subject at my place as well for anyone who is interested) .

Why should publication influence, or taint witnesses ?

A witness is supposed to tell the truth and nothing but the truth, therefore the witness knows what he, or she, knows and is supposed to say so, without being influenced.

If a witness is influenced by certain publicity, the witness if worthless anyway.

There are all kinds of major criminal cases going on all the time, where the public knows the basic details, so why should some cases be hidden from the public ? Because politics are involved ?

Perhaps there should be more publicity, exactly because politics are involved, with some very sick and deep corruption going on here in BC.

a quick look into goverment legislation on good governance will put things into perspective for many.

if any action is brought about and is harmful in any way, shape or form,to the government,it can cover it's a$$ in any way, shape or form...

that the SUPREME COURT bows to the wishes of the government is not a SURPRISE,the courts are there for the government(read as,we the people).

that our goverments have been corrupt and constantly change legislation disallowing the people knowledge of what is happening in our institutions is old news to most of us and getting that information now means you/we have to have deep pockets...and then you will find many pages blacked out ,particularly in the info you want, because legislation says, that information may damage a certain person or the government.

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE ! the politicians of british columbia are led by a known criminal, campbell was convicted of drunk driving and how he runs this government shows the public how criminal this man's behaviour really is.

OUR RIGHTS HAVE BEEN PISSED ON...BIGTIME...and the campbell gang haven't even warmed up yet.covering their collective a$$es shows that an open and transparent government, which they ran a platform on,is the farthest thing from their minds.

so trying to get a HANDLE on what is going on in this particular case ,means being clairvoyant.
