In the past, our government was able to exercise some type of control over the actions of corporations. We were bestowing a privilege upon them, and although we allowed them to pursue their capitalist goals we put regulations and policy in place so that the balance of power was tipped, be it ever so slightly, in favour of elected politicians over rich CEOs.
That has all changed.
The corporations have gotten smarter. They realized that they have strength in numbers. They formed the Canadian Council of Chief Executives in 2005. Two of the members now sit on the more recently formed (and more misleadingly named) North American Competitiveness council, and one is the sixth richest man in Canada. Building a stronger economically and social Canada is what they claim as their mandate, and I admit that it's a noble goal in theory.If of course, you buy into the idea that economic prosperity goes hand in hand with social progress.
So what happens when they decide to join forces, and instead of a handful of people controlling a few million or billion dollars, they form a Council with it's members profits exceeding 750 billion dollars a year?
Voila! The Security and Prosperity Partership is a corporation's wet dream. They couldn't have asked for more if they had designed it themselves.
Look behind the scenes, and you'll see that's exactly what they did.
The member corporations have been lobbying successfully for years to bring the SPP to life. It puts us on the fast track to North American "harmonization". That's corporate speak for ensuring our regulations are in synch with those of the US and Mexico.
Regulations have long been the bane of industry. They are often cited as a hindrance to investment and growth. Words like "costly, unnecessary and overly complex" are used to descrive the CCCE's feelings about them.
On their website, the CCCE praises the results of NAFTA, claiming that it has resuted in increased investment, employment and incomes.
Instead, the reality is that we are losing jobs to cheap labour overseas, and the NAFTA tribunal has proved worthless in settling trade disputes between our country and the US.
This doesn't have to happen.
Don't be afraid of the corporations. We gave them the power, we can take it away. The first step is believing that it's possible.

I propose this battle cry of the oppressed tax payer:
"Don't feed the machine"!
"Vote against incumbents, and ONLY for independent candidates".
"Don't be a slave to your wants"!
"Don't work for free"!
Simplistic? Perhaps, but these actions are implementable without any political party's agreement, and would force a change in the currently corrupt political party system.

“This movement of yours, does id have slogans?’” inquired the Chink.
“Right on!” they cried. And quoted him some.
“Your movement, does it have a flag?” Asked the Chink.
“You et!” And they described their emblem.
“And does you movement have leaders?”
“ Great leaders.”
“ Then shove it up your butts,” said the chink.
“I have taught you nothing.”

When people are forcefully restrained, their defiance becomes ingenious.<br />
And the more ingenious their defiance, the stranger are the things that happen.<br />

Then stricter laws and regulations mean more criminals and fugitives. <br />
Soon everyone is either a criminal or a fugitive, <br />

To become a Free Sovereign Citizen of Terra Libra, and do justice to yourself, you need to find out who you are. Most of us, including many who yearn for freedom, suffer from what might be called "slave mentality." Our personal philosophy and psychology, in important respects, may be that of a slave rather than that of a free sovereign. The purpose of this report is to help you find out who you are. Finding out who you are is a major step in acquiring freedom technology. <br />

Robert Anton Wilson has written about "The Abolition of Stupidity":<br />
<br />
"Two eminently intelligent men, R. Buckminister Fuller and Werner Erhard, have proposed that we can and should abolish starvation by the end of this century.<br />
<br />
This goal is rational, practical, and desirable; so it is naturally denounced as Utopian, fantastic, and absurd.<br />
<br />
I wish to propose a similar goal, which is also rational, practical, and desirable, and which will also be denounced as Utopian, fantastic, and absurd.<br />
<br />
I suggest a worldwide War against Stupidity.<br />
<br />
Although the stupid will naturally resent this, I address my ideas here to those who are not totally stupid or who are not stupid all the time, i.e., those rare individuals who have occasional lucid moments.<br />
<br />
The arguments for this Revolutionary Notion are as follows:<br />
<br />
1. Although one sounds like a satirist to say it, this planet does seem to be controlled by and largely by persons who are not in all respects reasonable men and women. Voltaire, of course, may have been exaggerating when he said that the only way to understand the mathematical concept of infinity is to contemplate the extent of human stupidity; but the situation is almost that bad. To mention just a few examples from my own lifetime: Hitler murdered six million Jews for "reasons" that were totally insane...<br />
<br />
It is scarcely an exaggeration to say that millions of humans have been murdered in the course of such irrational scapegoating throughout history. Since each of us belongs to some minority or other, any of us might be one of the targets in the next witch-hunt, and if they burn us there will be nothing left to cryonically preserve.<br />
<br />
Nor is stupidity the exclusive trait of the stupid; you do not need a "vocation" for it, as you do for the priesthood. It seems to be a contagious socio-semantic disturbance which afflicts all of us at one time or another...<br />
<br />
Indeed, it was chiefly by contemplating religious history that Voltaire was led to concluded that human stupidity approximated to the infinite. The study of politics is hardly more inspiring, and any examination of economic debate strongly suggests that the theologians of the Dark Ages are still among us, operating in a new department.<br />
<br />
I do not wish to enlarge upon this topic, since it has already been amply discussed by Jonathan Swift and Mark Twain, among others. Let us just summarize the matter by saying that stupidity has murdered and imprisoned more geniuses, burned more books, slaughtered more populations, and blocked progress more effectively than any other force in history. It may be no exaggeration to say that stupidity has killed more people than all diseases known to medicine and psychiatry...<br />
<br />
2. If intelligence could be increased, obviously solutions could be found more quickly to the various Doomsday scenarios presently threatening us...<br />
<br />
(A) For instance, if each scientist working on the energy-resources problem could increase his or her intelligence by a factor of two, work that could otherwise require ten years could be accomplished in five.<br />
<br />
(B) If human stupidity in general decreased, there would be less opposition to original thinking and to new approaches to our old problems.<br />
<br />
(C) If stupidity decreased, less money would be wasted on vast organized imbecilities, such as the arms race, and more would be available for life-enhancing projects.<br />
<br />
The same arguments apply to any other worthwhile goals: abolition of starvation and poverty, finding cures for cancer or schizophrenia, etc. There is nothing rationally desirable that cannot be achieved sooner if rationality itself increases. This is virtually a tautology, yet we seldom consider the corollary: Work to achieve higher intelligence is work to achieve all of our other goals...<br />
<br />
Like death and poverty, stupidity has been around so long that most people cannot imagine human life without it, but it is rapidly becoming obsolete. However many special-interest groups (politicians, clergy, advertisers, etc.) may profit from stupidity, humanity as a whole will profit more from its abolition. From here on, we should measure our progress toward our personal goals, and our contribution to humanity's world-round progress, in terms of how much smarter we have gotten in the last year, the last month, the last week, THE LAST HOUR." -- see Appendix for the rest of "The Abolition of Stupidity."<br />

This unlimited power was given to corporations by the neoclassical market economic theory, about 35-40 years ago, then enhanced with the deregulated money creation powers given to the banks by pimp governments.
Although the neoclassical theory is being taught, now almost exclusively, by the world's universities, it can be broken very easily and proven as a con job and fraud.......as I wrote many times in the past. The whole thing is so incredibly stupid and criminal that it boggles the mind that anybody can pay even a lip service to it, let alone accept it as a science and enslave millions.
But then, some people, even highly placed politicians still believe that the world was created 7,000 years ago and etc. and millions have followed and are following cheesy dictators into self destruction.
Don't blame the corporations, blame the priesthood that gave them the powers, which can be taken away from them by any so called democratic system of governments.
I'm enclosing, once more my 1991 Principle, the basics of which blow the neoclassical theory to hell, because they're based on unbreakable physical laws and not "faith".
The present system is so childishly fraudulent and I'm ashamed of the human race accepting any part of it.
Ed Deak.
A PRINCIPLE FOR THE APPLICATION OF PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TO ECONOMICS.
By Ed Deak.
"THE REAL, OR PHYSICAL COSTS OF A PRODUCT, OR SERVICE ARE CONSTANT."
An efficient product contains physically efficient or ideal amounts of energy and matter, regardless of numerical or monetary considerations.
Monetary "cost efficiency" can not exist outside the concepts of physical efficiency and becomes cost transfer on other sectors. Therefore it is not efficiency but temporary convenience.
1. Everything and everybody on earth is bound by physical laws.
2. The science, planning and the acts of production are based on physical laws, therefore economic principles must also follow them.
3. "Matter and energy can not be destroyed, only transformed". Both began in and continue into eternity, therefore monetary costs are momentary "subtotals" in continuous columns, without the possibility of "bottom lines". Our environmental and human disasters are caused by arbitrarily located subtotals falsely used as bottom lines by special interests, leaving unaccounted liabilities.
4. Because of the eternal qualities of matter and energy, we don't know the cost of anything and ignorantly use subtotals, like the monetary costs of extraction, to create delusions of well being.
5. In physics "Efficiency is the most output for the least energy input".(Energy=matter). Economists conveniently substituted the word "money" for "energy", which permits the predetermination of equations and causes environmental and human destruction.
6. Measuring instruments and parameters must be permanently defined and of constant values, protected by agreements and laws.
7. Monetary value can not be permanently defined. Money is a speculative commodity under special interest control, an asset to the holder and liability to the issuer. It is infinitely and unpredictably variable, with corrupted conversions. Therefore it's use as economic measure is contradictory, unscientific, immoral and illegal.
8. The premise that huge production runs etc. are "cost efficient" is false, because it refers only to perceptions of temporary monetary benefits to special sectors, while transferring real and monetary costs on others through erroneous, or fraudulent accounting.
9. In physics "Mass increases with speed", e.g. to double the speed of a boat,the energy input may have to be squared. The speedup of production also uses inefficient inputs of capital, energy/matter and creates cost transfers on the environment and humanity.
10."For every action there's an equal reaction". Overcapitalized massproduction creates temporary benefits to a few with the distribution of research, development & administration costs, but multiplies transferred costs in inefficient, forced urbanization, pollution, enslavement, health & mental problems, violence, crime, stress, time & capital waste from commuting, taxation, etc. ad infinitum.
11.The "Gross Domestic Product" and "Productivity" are false concepts to permit the accounting of liabilities as assets.
12.Our economic systems are based on the misuse of words, concepts, mathematics and accounting. No sane person wishes to go back to primitivism or musclepower, but there must be new, democratically controlled determination of when, how far and for whose benefit convenience may, or must overrule the concepts of true efficiency within the recovery capacity of the environment and humanity.

Just how long will it take for the so-called "intelligensia" of Canada to figure out the truth about "who" runs Canada and the USA, and Great Britain and France and the EU and Russia and China and so on and on and on. You good-hearted souls dance around this age-old problem like savages around a campfire ranting and raving about the "corporations" and the "elites" and the "this" and the "that" making lots of noise but always, I repeat, ALWAYS, fearful of touching the central fire.
Wake up! It's the Jews who run the show here in Canada as in the USA and the rest of the so-called "Western" nations and those of Russia and China. You've been so damn brainwashed all your lives by the Jewish media (which they've controlled before any of you were even born) that you can't see the very medium that you're swimming in. The Jews, call them Zionists or whatever the hell you want, have been holding the purse strings of the nations and controlling the politicians for centuries and they continue to do so while you earnest seekers grasp at the myriad diversionary straws that they dangle in front of your eyes.
Wakey wakey you Canadian patriots and wipe the sleep from your eyes and start digging further if you want to know the truth about who is controlling you.

Naw! Or rather, perhaps they do.....but they were merely clever enough to step into a vacuum that was all ready extant. They are not an inhernet part of the "conspiracy"....merely pawns like the rest of us, but far more intelligent to make use of it, while the rest of us are ranting on about how the Jews run the world.
So, who then...............?

Sorry to have to disagree with you RPW but you are incorrect. It's the goy who are the pawns. The Jews RULE. Period. They control ALL media, ALL publishing of major networks, ALL governments via their lobbyists and purse strings. To suggest otherwise is but to display your own ignorance of the FACTS.
Pawns, my ass. The first European to set foot on the North American continent (with the exception of unknown Vikings) was who RKW?
