I have the original Gone in 60 Secs and Vanishing point on video which I transfer to one tape and sell them for 25.oo ea including shipping if any one is interested.. Both are in stereo and have a great sopund track.. the g i 60 secs is the remastered original done after halikis death making his next movie.. I love where they wreck 40 cars in 30 minutes.. 1. Days of Thunder -- Rental Car Scene. Arguably not a chase scene. But still a standout scene in a standout film.
2. Bad Boys 2 - Freeway scene. This scene my eyes peeled wide open.
3. Matrix: Reloaded - A scene that keeps the adrenaline pumping, and the viewer a little in awe of the scene's speed.

Tape and whatever may be on it... uhmm "Blank VHS cassette or Blank DVD" $25.00 covers.. just the shipping and handling.. ya thats it.. just the old S&H.. no copywrite infringement here... nope not at all.. please direct your attention to the other man selling wristwatches.. just"BLANK" cassettes over here.. nothing more....

The best car chase ever is the one in the original Blues Brothers movie. If you haven't seen it get it and you will see why.....sooooo much destruction.
I love that movie, and remember well the scene your talking about.
I also liked the scene in Raising Arizona where Nic Cage is robbing the variety store and ends up going back to grab the baby who gets left in the middle of the road..very well choreographed (sp?).

For smash and crash if thats what your into then you cannot compete with Smokey and the Bandit part whatever with the Canadian Mountie Reginald. They must have torn up a couple hundred cars in that desert scene.

The car looked great, but I didn't like most of the chases. That said, some of my favourites: Bullitt ('68), Duel ('71), The French Connection ('71), Mad Max 2 ('81) and Smokey and the Bandit ('77).
