Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World! Being a Torontonian, I thought this movie totally captured the city accurately having been to a lot of the places where it was shot. Canadian Michael Cera was a great lead man for too. Definitely my pick for movie of the year. Did anyone else see this?
Nope, probably gonna download it.
Hard Core Logo starring Hugh Dillon
For me it would be Juno.
Men with Brooms!
Agree with EitherOr. Scott Pilgrim vs the world was amazing and it really showed off toronto.
Rare Birds staring Andy Jones, Molly Parker and William Hurt.
Strange Brew...'nuff said
Most movies that are 'American' anymore are made in Canada and they star Canadians.
Who has seen the wind
Stargate: "Continuium", and "Ark of Truth", but then I'm partial to Amanda Tapping. Kind of narrow crowd shows, however. Never saw, nor probably will ever see that 'Scott Pilgrim' flick.
Ginger Snaps, but only because my cousin is the producer
Scott Pilgrim ruled. Bollywood/ Hollywood is another fun one from a few years ago that centres on Toronto's Indo-Canadian community.
