I'm looking for suggestions for good girl pop groups. Doesn't even have to be girl groups, just ones that prominently feature women singers, preferably harmonies.

Here's a few to start:

ABBA
Cranberries
Supremes
Bananarama
Dan Hicks and his hot licks (just love the backup singers)
Mamas and Papas

I know this is mostly a site for manly men and all, but I hope to hear some suggestions.

Not really, just the first girl group that came to mind. And when you hit mute on the videos they're pretty good too.

How bout Tatu? Evanescence? Lacuna Coil?

   

I'll check em out - that's what I'm looking for, ones I haven't heard of.

I was thinking more of pop groups, but yep, they're good.

   

Here's one for ya! Back in the early to mid-70's was a group out of Vancouver area-Women Of The World- 8 members-all girls.Haven't done any research on what has become of them. Anybody else heard of them?

If you want Girl groups you have to look at Korea. They pump this stuff into the North. K pop seems to be the in thing in this part of the world.
