It's all crap now.

Not 'all'. I saw Wonder Woman, and Spiderman over the summer, and thoroughly enjoyed them. I don't know why Spiderman needed to be rebooted for a third time, but it was still good.
But those were the only movies I wanted to see over the summer. The rest didn't interest me. Until Thor:Ragnarock. Going this weekend, if I have time.

Wonder Woman was the biggest surprise and saved the DCU while Thor Ragnarock was one of the best Marvel movies and Spiderman Homecoming was boring.

Last Flag Flying looks pretty cool. It looks like a good crew with a good plot. Good to see Bryan Cranston back to work. I missed him.

Different universe.
STAR WARS EP. 8!!!!
It's going to be awesome.
N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog:
watched this one last night.
You can tell it was a practice run for the Avenger-Guardians mashup movie that is due in the next year or two. There was a lot of slapstick comedy, vibrant colour, and a very distinct late-80s/early-90s action vibe that would be more typical of a Guardians movie than an Avengers movie. I think they meshed it together pretty well, particularly with the final action scene, where the bright Guardian-esque colours were muted by the darker Avengers setting. I was very curious to see how that would play out, and they did it well.

They also did a couple allusions to the Gauntlet and Infinity Stones.

Totally hyping the "Infinity War" angle.
(Can't wait!)

It's not though! It's an intellectual property thing.
Sony owned the rights to Spiderman and a couple other characters, Disney owns the rest. We would have a better chance of a Wolverine/Luke Skywalker crossover than Spiderman being in the Avengers, until recently.

Yeah, Marvel instead of Sony.
