it's insane how much it resembles forest gump. i noticed this while watching benjamin button...which kind of upsets me on why it's nominated.

i know it is somewhat cliche but i really hope heath ledger takes the oscar for best supporting actor. on that note, disappointed that dark knight isn't nominated for best picture.

   

I can even tell it had editing problems, most of which they could have fixed in post....

do you ever wonder if directors just dont care anymroe and just repeat their successful films over and over again? i like indie or rep cinema way better because it feels like new directors actually are trying to make us think.

   

It's not just the directors being lazy, it's the Academy being to whacked out on drugs hookers and booze to notice that they already voted this movie as best picture back in 94.

Unbelievable. I guess I'll just pull out an old copy of Forrest Gump and save myself a few coins by not going and seeing the updated version.

   

already benjamin button has proved you can recycle the same movie and win the same awards. that's how bad the film industry is getting.
