He's been in some cheesy movies, but has always been a class act.

Well that just sucks.

That is really sad...when someone starts to say goodbye it means its the end. He never was in the limelight and I totally respect him for that. Nevermind that Point Break was possibly, IMO, the best movie....peace to him and his family. I hope it isnt painful

lily lily:
To the liver now? :(

Lecture time - have an annual check-up, especially if you have nasty things in your family.

doesnt matter...trust me

Depends. Caught early, many things are treatable, if not curable.

I have an annual check up and I still have Pic line in my body...so no it doesnt

Sad to hear. And I agree with Lily, get regular check-ups...it DOES matter and can be the difference between life and death. If my father had gone for regular check-ups I believe he would still be here today but we lost him at 63 years of age from complications due to diabetes which the dr's speculate had gone undiagnosed for years. So yes early diagnosis can save your life or at the least prolong it. We also have a friend who if not for a regular check-up may not be here today as his prostate cancer was detected early and treated successfully and he is 10+years cancer free.

Think I'll schedule a check-up.

It is sad, he is a wonderful singer

Wow. That's awful. :( I was just watching Dirty Dancing last night.
As a family member of someone who's died of cancer my heart goes out to anyone dealing with that kind of stuff.
