TPB won best comedy at last nights Gemini Awards. I have to say they have good taste.......
.
.
Definitely. When I first heard about the show, I thought it would incredibly stupid. Boy was I wrong. That is one of the funniest show's ever. Esepcially the episode with Conkey (from the last season). I hadn't laughed so hard in a long long time.
That was a good episode. My favorite was the Bible saleman and his "Daughter". When he asked Bubbles, "Can you read my son" and Bubbles reply was, " hmm, I don't know, can you go ____ yourself?" One of the best lines ever......
I totally forgot about that one and how awsome that line was.
I'd say my other favourite episode is the one where Ricky kidnaps the guitartist from Rush. When Rush is on your show, you know you've got something good.
I have to agree with xerxes. the episode where ricky kidnaps Alex Lifeson from Rush had to be the best one ever.

Oh yeah, " This isn't kidnapping, I just borrowed him for awhile" Was that before or after Ricky got his grade 10?.....
i watched an episode once and thought it was the stupidest thing ever. it's the same kind of inane drivel as jackass or FUBAR. how could that have won best comedy? canada makes all kinds of comedy shows, i'm sure they were all better than this garbage.
"A dope trailer is no place for a kitty"
sk1d: Try thinking of TPB as being so bad that it is great!!!
I just saw my fave episode again last night. J-ROC getting caught jacking off!!
It's a great show and if anyone has been around enough you will recognize the characters (as crazy as they are) can be found in real life just around the corner from your house. It's kind of like "King of the Hill" take a trip to the southern states and you will find the real life versions.
Ain't life Grand
wasnt there an episode where Rita Mcneil helps Ricky "crop out?"
Without a doubt the pride of Canadian TV.
I have some buddies who live in Mich. They borrowed my dvd's of the series.
Brought them back the next day and bought their own copies before heading back across the border.
TPBS now have a growing fanbase south of the border
