hey anyone here seen walk the line and whatd you think of it??!
Wow, you really like Johnny Cash, eh?
John Stewert said Walk the Line was just a remake of Ray with white people.
heeeeyyyyy, not cool-- but yeah, i do like him a lot-- but the movie made me like him even more!!
Awesome movie. And cant believe how well Reese and J. Phoenix sang and sounded like Johnny and June.
Thought the movie was a little slow in the middle, but otherwise very good
We just watched the movie tonight. He sure was a raging prick for awhile, I was glad to see it when he managed to kick the pills and get on with his life.
I just finished watching it five minutes ago.
thoughts??
I thought it was very superficial. I don't feel that I know either Jonny or June any better after seeing it.
It was just the standard Cultural Icon structure: obscurity, success, drugs, rehab, true love.
At least Ray had some depth. You got the sense that you had some ide where he came from and what drove him to do what he did.
Walk the Line felt like a T movie.
That being said, I can't beleive how much like Mr. Cash he souned. It was downright creepy.
i loved the chemistyr between phoenix and witherspoon-- theyd maek a great couple!
i type so sloppy!!
I saw the movie and i liked it. I never knew much about Johnny Cash but i do have a bit of an idea about how important he in the history of modern music
i plan on buying the CD this week
I have to agree with John Stewart and BN. It's "Ray" but with white people. I didn't like Ray either.
I say 'Ray' shortly after I saw 'Walk the Line'. I thought they were the same movie too.
But I liked 'Walk the Line' a lot. I've been a life-long fan of Johnny's - I'm old enough to have some of his albums
