*NOTE : I typed in Die Hard 5 when it should be read as Die Hard 4. Sorry for the mistake.

Just like to know which sequel you are all looking forward to the most. Jurassic Park was one of my favorite films of all time so naturally im very interested in Part 4 which Spielberg will be involved in and sais will be the best plot since the original. However, I also loved the Evil Dead trilogy and would like to see Ash make a comeback. Then we have Spider-Man which is a great adaptation of a comic book and im curious to see how the story unfolds. And finally you got Space Balls, one of the funniest parodies ever. For me this poll is too hard to make a choice so im gonna leave it up to you all to see which film sequel is the most anticipated.

Sure sequels are a way to make even more money but none the less, people still flock to theatres and video stories to watch the sequels. And certain films as you stated are meant to be divided into sequels or trilogies. Eg.Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.

Even so, if I see a good film with characters I like, I am often wanting to see those characters again in another film. Some sequels can get ridiculous but even so, I still find my self atleast renting the DVD eg.Friday the 13th. No matter how rediculous it gets, I still watch the films as they come out on DVD. It's the characters that draw me in alot of the time. A good charcter or cast of good characters can make even a bad sequel story line film cash.

Space Balls 2 man, more Rick Moranis as Dark Helmet and Lone Starr goodness. Along with Mel Brooks as Yogurt, yuuuum.

I enjoyed is Spaceballs, but I wouldn't think a sequel in order. What I would really like to see is a bridge movie between Mad Max and The Road Warrior.

I'd kinda like to see a few more Return of the Living Dead movies too. They're funny.

Die Hard 5? I missed #4. The only one here that I would like to see is Space Balls 2. Is this in the works?

I'd rather see a movie without a number after the title. ...

How about Spiderman three ?

BartSimpson @ Mon May 30, 2005 11:28 am

Spiderman 3 is the one I'm looking forward to the most.

Although it would also be nice to see a sequel to "Breakfast at Tiffany's". 8)

I'm kind of looking forward to it too. But it will be awhile because they won't be able to start shooting until at least the 2nd half of 2006 from what I hear. But the fact that both George Lucas and Steven Spielberg have given their enthusiastic support to the script bodes well. So as long as Harrison Ford approves the script all systems are go.

I also can't wait for X-Men 3. Kelsey Grammer as The Beast seems almost too perfect. I read they are also trying to get a really big star to play Gambit.

dennis_is_canadian @ Mon May 30, 2005 1:27 pm

lol sorry Hester, I made a typo on the Die Hard 5, it was supposed to be 4.

As for the character Gambit, who would you like to see cast for the role?

The Hoser @ Mon May 30, 2005 1:37 pm

Personally, I'm waiting for The Bourne Ultimatium, but that won't be out to around 2007. Spaceballs 2 is probably the one I'm most looking forward to in that list, I loved the first one, probably the best paroday of all time. X-men 3 looks greate, Gambit and Beast are my two favourit X-Men heros (Except for Wolverine!) I wonder when we'll see my favourit Villian.. Omega Red!!!!
I don't really like the spider-man movies, so number three is kind of... Meh.
Not a die hard fan of die hard, so I might pass up that one on opening day, Jurassic Park 4 looks good too.
