Yet another reason why Disney is the Evil Empire - proactively suing suing dead artist's estates to retain copyright.

If anyone at Disney had a soul, they would have waited until the heirs tried reclaiming the rights, then defended itself and likely won in court or settled.

Now, as with most Disney copyright litigation, they come off as bullies and assholes. It's a huge reason why I won't spend a penny on anything Disney-related if at all possible.
