QBC QBC:
lets not forget the theme from Cheers! But I still like the theme song from Hockey Night in Canada. No words, but none too many more recognizable to Canadians me thinks.

All the CSI theme songs (The Who rock!) and my all-time favorite would have to be the Talespin theme.

The Sopranos - hands down - far and away - nothing else is even close.

"There's a voice, that keeps on calling me; down the road, that's where I'll always be; every stop I make"- oh the hell with it...

Here it goes. I'll not be able to get this out of my head for a week, but I'll nominate:

The Flintstones. Meet the Flintstones....

Bonus point trivia question:

What's playing at the drive-in?

The Greatest American Hero was a great theme song.

HNIC is the greatest though. Every time you hear it, it brings a wonderful sense of excitement & anticipation. That song was there when you and your family crowded round the TV at night or when you in your mates all crowded into your first dirty little apartment (beers in hand) to blow off studing for the night. Ahhhh, good times, good times!

Sports : Hockey night in Canada and Monday night football (now cancelled) TSN international hockey ( when team Canada plays)

TV series: drama.. Hill Street Blues, Magnum PI and Miami Vice

TV Comedy: Jeffersons, Hogan's heroes and Drew Carey show....

Best of all time though: Mystery Science Theatre 3000

In the not too distant future,
Next Sunday A.D.
There was a guy named Joel,
Not too different from you or me.

He worked at Gizmonic Institute,
Just another face in red jump suit.
He did a good job cleaning up the place,
But his bosses didn't like him

And they shot him into space!

We'll send him cheesy movies,
The worst we can find (La La La!)
He'll have to sit & watch them all,
Then we'll monitor his mind (La La La!)

Now keep in mind Joel can't control,
When the movies begin & end (La La La!)
Because he used those special parts,
To make his robot friends

ROBOT ROLL CALL (Let's Go!)

Cambot (Pan Left)
Gypsy (Hi Girls)
Tom Servo (Hi Tall Guy)
Crooow (I'm The Wisecracker)

If you're wondering how he eats & breathes,
And other science facts (La La La!)
Then repeat to yourself its just a show,
I should really just relax
For Mystery Science Theater 3000

Almost forgot about... bonanza:

We got a right to pick a little fight - Bonanza!
If anyone fights anyone of us he’s gotta fight with me!

We’re not a one to saddle up and run: Bonanza!
Anyone of us who starts a little fuss knows he can count on me.

One for four. Four for one: This we guarantee.

We got a right to pick a little fight: Bonanza!
If anyone fights anyone of us he’s gotta fight with me!

And I first learned the lyrics on an episode of cheers..... Cliff Clavin was singing it....
