Great pics. Sounds like a really good time. Out of curiosity how did yo get the bikes there? Expensive? I've always thought a bike trip through the alps would be awesome.

umm, I'm living in Italy atm, so it's not so bad. :)
I have the Alps for my backyard, but the Rockies are better.



4-5 hours on the Autostrada from Milan to Trieste, then a sideroad into Slovenia,
an hour later to the border.

The Croat economy really suffered during the war, tourism especially.
Having 200,000 Serbs kicked and not returning didn't help either.
But they have a great country, not overrun with people, and some great scenery.

Thanks, I really should get a camera mount for the bike, so I can take pics
'on the run'.
Otherwise, I would have to stop every 300 yards. :)

Yeah!! You notice we never see the pictures of the empty industrial/warehouse districts that regina visits. :twisted:
