having a minor shaker right now
ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog:
a rocking sensation here on the 12th floor. Students are all chattering like a bunch of agitated chimps. It's not that damn bad

That'll happen at those Campbell get togethers...
While the MacDonalds all scream like wee girls.
We found some minor cracks in the concrete and the paving stones on the sidewalk had buckled and shifted alot, but nothing serious here. It's the bridges and roads up in the mountains that people are worried about-those areas closest to the epicentre-which were hard hit by Morakot in August.
Imagine if all the Chinese shifted in one direction at once. That could tip if not flip the plate.

"Although my heart is unco sair And lies fu' lowly in its lair,
Yet the last drap o' blude that's there I'll gie for Bonny Charlie!"
"Bien que je sois plein d'amertume, Et n'aie plus espérance aucune, mon sang est toute ma fortune: Je le verserai pour Charlie!"
Jacobite!

Calling bullshit here. A Campbell has never made a girl, let alone a Mac Donald girl, scream.

Hopefully everything works out.

Well,
A. We make
women moan with pleasure.
B. Campbells stick to human females, not related to them by blood. We tried to help clean up the MacDonald wading gene pool, but they just stole anything not nailed down, from their Campbell benefactors/kin.
C. You are the only clan that mistakes bleats of terror for screams of delight. Everyone used to wonder why you didn't shear your sheep and sell the wool, now we know it's to provide you guys with a firm hold. By the way they're only supposed to be used for meat and wool(wool in the form of clothing, not heavy body hair that is the result of a non human gene).

Earthquakes, monsoons, tsunamis, poison critters, gators etc. I got no interest in such 'wonders of the world'. Much as I hate the friggin cold, I'll take -40 any day!
Since the initial quake, we've had 16 aftershocks ranging from 3.4 up to a 4.8. Most have been next to unnoticeable.

The one thing you can say about the Detroit/Windsor area...the economy sucks so much disasters stay away.
In my younger days a minor shaker was about 20 friends and a keg.
