Is this the asshole that has stupid amounts of "Traditional Marriage" signs up all over Nepean-West? If I have the time before election day, I'd like to go around collecting them and tossing them into random dumpsters.

No, this asshole is running in my riding, Ajax Pickering in which he is heading to victory without a problem.
So now you say he's an asshole but yet, you have a sign on your lawn in support of him?

You're wrong about him winning.. he's not going to win.

I used asshole because it was the term used in the quote. A sense of humour is hard to tell via text on a screen :)
Fair enough answer.

The term was an appropriate one to describe Thomas as well.

$1:
The pulse of this commuity has changed dramatically. Holland won by 7000 votes....against someone not too familar to residents, add in all the Liberal problems and the backing that Mr. Thomas has here in this community.

It'll be a close race, but Thomas will take it.
The News Advertisor poll doesn't agree with you.. ;)

Have you decided who you will vote for in the January 23 federal election?

Conservative 289 39.9%
Green 16 2.2%
Liberal 329 45.4%
NDP 70 9.7%
Undecided 20 2.8%

Total number of votes: 724

Thanks for that accurate representation of the community.

When did you meet Mr. Thomas?

It's probably as accurate as you'll find given that the only people who would be voting on there are local residents..

But that's ok OTI, the definitive accurate representation of the Ajax/Pickering community will be displayed on the 23rd.
As you yourself have said, Mark Holland's a great guy and as I mentioned previously about him, he's well respected in that community from his time serving on the town council.
Thomas on the other hand.. well, exactly what is it that he's got going for him other than a video showing him to be a narrow minded bigot..?

$1:
When did you meet Mr. Thomas?
I can't say as I have met him nor would I want to be seen associating with him.

Funny because in another thread, you critisize the kid for talking about things he had not experienced, Stuff you read isn't accurate you said.

Yet you're able to judge a person and call him a piece of shit without even meeting him? Strange.

I understand how it works. Liberal hypocrisy.

Are you having a difficult time seperating history from current events OTI?

Are you having a hard time with the whole reading thing? Short term memory a little shot?

You told Tricks:

$1:
Sorry kid, but considering the fact that you weren't even breathing when Trudeau was PM, you have no place to talk about what kind of job PET did.

Get back to us when you've actually been alive and paying taxes when talking about what kind of a job a former PM has done.

$1:
Quoting dates from a book or movie about a military movement is far from experiencing what life was actually like by living through that time.

So, in your opinion, you cannot accurately represent History unless you lived through it.

However, you are able to judge a man, call him a piece of shit, based on stuff you have read about him.

So, how about you get back to us when you actually know something about the man you're speaking about. Thanks.

Should we separate history from current events?

So you really do have a difficult time understanding the difference of experiencing what is actually happening now and being in the current climate as opposed to reading what someone's perspective of what happened 60 years ago is.

Hey dude it's an honest question..
You should at least have an understanding that the accounts of something which happened before your life time might not necessarily be completely accurate since they are subject to interpretation.

As opposed to actually experiencing a situation in real life.

797, I don't think that anyone would say that it didn't happen.

But for those that didn't live through it, we only know about it based on what others wrote about it because we weren't actually present to experience the climate of those times.
