It's important to note where the Liberals stand on that. They are a right-leaning party with authoritarian tendencies even if they aren't as bad as the Conservatives. I haven't seem the Greens plotted, but I bet they come in around the same place, given their policies.
Where did you get the details?
They plot them based on policy stated by the party and policies enacted by governments.
Who does? I understand the concept but why would you believe a simple graph with no supporting doccuments or references?
Here's a more official and legitimate one:
It's likely from http://www.politicalcompass.org/
Whether or not it's accurate is another story, but this is hardly esoteric information.
It is from Political Compass, Mustang. I thought that was pretty obvious since that site has been mentioned so many times here and elsewhere.
As for accuracy...I'd say it's pretty close, although those results are from 2006 and I suspect that a replotting would see some minor changes.
Anyone who puts the Big Sister nanny-state worshippers of the ND fucking P on the side of libertarianism desperately needs to have an emergency enema done to clear out their brains. Name one Dipper that didn't joyfully go along with Svend Robinson's law that made making anti-gay jokes a worse crime than murder. You can't, and that means in contemporary Canada the big government Stalinists in the NDP are still the biggest authoritarian fascists that you can find.

This is very subjective to monkeybusiness and, like polls, the questions are almost as important as the answers.
In this day of media hype and 24-news, we're bombarded with details and so many of that is simply clutter. We really need more critical thinking to screen out the noise so we can get the information we need.
