Putting even greater sums of money into the hands of the corrupt chiefs and their feudal reserves propagated by lieberal apartheid I am sure you will agree is not the path to self-sufficiency and societal participation.
I also know that you can’t blame the white man for your current woes as virtually all suppression of natives is instigated by other natives. Am I wrong Donny?

Oh ya, you don't want Indians to participate in the economy unless your in control of it.
You should be applauding our initiatives to create jobs and become self sufficent instead of condeming them.
You complain when we get welfare cheques and you complain when we get jobs.

Most of the council were for it. Jobs for everyone and economic activity, but I guess those are only good things if white people get to run it all.

I guess you never bothered to check out the economic and social success of the Muskeg urban reserve in Saskatoon. When allowed, First Nations participating their own way in the economy can spell success for everyone, not just Indians.
Instead of abolishing our rights, let us use them as well as we can to do things our own way.
